Mirror Work

The most powerful affirmations are those you say out loud when you are in front of your mirror.

The mirror reflects back to you the feelings you have about yourself. It makes you immediately aware of where you are resisting and where you are open and flowing. It clearly shows you what thoughts you will need to change if you want to have a joyous, fulfilling life.

As you learn to do mirror work, you will become much more aware of the words you say and the things you do. You will learn to take care of yourself on a deeper level than you have done before.

Doing mirror work is one of the most loving gifts you can give yourself. It takes only a second to say, "You've got this" “Looking good” or "I'm so proud of you!" It’s so important to give yourself little positive messages throughout the day.

Joy List

Create Your Joy List

We all want our lives to be defined by as much light, love, laughter, and joy as possible.

The more of that we have the more resilience we have to weather the inevitable things that do not go as planned and wild curveballs life throws at us.

The thing is, when we are head down, bum up, absorbed in busy-ness, and getting things done, actively seeing joy can be something we defer to later. Let’s take a moment today to stop and look around at what brings us joy because what you focus your attention on grows!

List 3 places that make you happy.

List 3 people who bring you joy and uplift me when you spend time with them.

List 3 times you laughed out loud in the last week.

List 3 activities that light me up.

Here's our mental self-care prompt today...

Rose meditation

All that you need to perform this exercise is a fresh rose and a silent place.

Start to stare at the center of the rose, its heart.

Keep staring at the rose. Notice its color, texture, and design. Savor its fragrance and think only about this wonderful object in front of you.

At first, other thoughts will start entering your mind, distracting you from the heart of the rose. This is the mark of an untrained mind. But you need not worry, improvement will come quickly.

Simply return your attention to the object of your focus. Soon your mind will grow strong and disciplined.

If you don't have a rose available you can use another flower or even your morning cup of coffee or tea.

When you repeat this daily at the same exact time, most preferably in the morning, time the process and increase the meditation time as your mind...

Seven x Four

An exercise/meditation that you can do anywhere to reduce stress and promote a general feeling of peace is the 7-7-7-7 breath:

1. Find a place where you will not be distracted for 5-10min

2. Find a comfortable sitting position with a straight spine, as if the top of the head (crown) is being pulled by a string connected to Heaven.

3. From the base of the body feel a cord that connects into the center of the Earth.

4. With eyes closed begin breathing in for a count of 7 seconds. As you breathe in feel the golden luminous energy of the earth filling your body.

5. Hold the breath for a count of 7 seconds feeling the golden luminous Earth energy saturating every cell in the body.

6. Exhale for a count of 7 seconds.  As you exhale feel the white luminous energy of Heaven filling your body.

The Five Senses Exercise

Calm your mind by using your five senses to focus on your environment instead of your thoughts.

First, notice 5 things that you can see. Look around you and become aware of your environment. Try to pick out something that you don’t usually notice.

Second, notice 4 things you can feel. Bring attention to the things that you’re currently feeling, such as the texture of your clothing or the smooth surface of the table you’re resting your hands on.

Third, notice 3 things that you can hear. Listen for and notice things in the background that you don’t normally notice. It could be the birds chirping outside or an appliance humming in the next room.

Fourth, notice 2 things you can smell. Bring attention to scents that you usually filter out, either pleasant or unpleasant. Catch a whiff of...

Wrap your arms around yourself

A simple, easy pose that can now be added to your daily self-care practice.

Hug yourself every morning and whenever you just need some love.

And here’s the thing, it turns out hugging ourselves and others is an action with tremendous impact. Research indicates that hugs are a powerful combatant against stress and anxiety, disease, depression, loneliness, and disease in general.

The Health, Immune and Beauty Benefits of USANA’S PROFLAVANOL® C?

I often get asked what my favorite supplement is and while it's really hard to choose just one (aside from the foundation of Cellsentials) I would have to highlight this purple little hero for health and beauty!

LET'S DIVE INTO THE MANY BENEFITS OF USANA’S PROFLAVANOL® C?

Proflavanol C100 delivers a healthy dose of skin-supporting nutrients in each bilayer tablet.

Vitamin C is an essential, water-soluble vitamin. Your body can’t make it, so it must come from your diet.

It metabolizes and leaves your body fairly quickly, so it’s important you take it regularly.

Stress also has an impact on Vitamin C levels. A busy, and stressful, lifestyle can cause it to decline rapidly.

We all can all benefit from original “superfruit” because we are bombarded free radicals and stressors including:

  • Viruses
  • Processed foods
  • Stress
  • Pollution
  • Sedentary lifestyle
  • UV exposure
  • Sleep deprivation

This one-of-a-kind supplement is made with USANA...

How to Create a Daily Goal Card for Manifesting and Intentional Goal Setting

goal setting manifesting Mar 11, 2020

A goal card combines the powers of planning, affirmation, visualization, and repetition.

You may have read about this in the book Think And Grow Rich, any resource from Bob Proctor, Louise Hay taught the world about affirmations and mirror work and virtually any successful person in the world created their life with intention.

This is simple tool to complement how you focus or manifest on what you're creating.

I use my Vision Book to encompass my full life, broken into four chapters and then I like using my goal card to bring to life one very specific goal at a time.

Learn more about my Mini Vision Book Course

It's really fun actually, I just pick someone big or small and bring it life in an elevated way. Sometimes it's quite simple and I can bring it to life within days and sometimes months and months... it depends on how much inner work it required to become the person who can create what I'm seeking.

It's very much a practice of self-worth, way more then is obvious....
