I’ve recently been watching GIRL BOSS on Netflix and it’s coming just at the right time in my life and biz.
It’s loosely based on the story of Sophia Amoruso founder of Nasty Gal, which started as an ebay store and grew to an empire worth over 200 million.
While her character is a little bit harsh and a bit crazy, she inspires me to just go for it and not worry about pleasing everyone!
F the good girl syndrome anyone?
Just recently I was inspired to offer a coaching call to the women of the company I’m partnered with and it was boldly called Be THAT Girl! It was received with praise and in divine timing. I guess I wasn’t the only one who needed to told to own it and just go for it!
So what does it mean to be THAT girl?
It means moving forward with less apologies and explanations.
It means being more fierce and focused then ever before.
It means stepping UP and becoming who you were meant to be.
It means letting people think what they want to…
You are not someone to be underestimated.
You have a whole world of strength and power in you that you haven’t even seen yet.
Although you may only use a few of your skills so far, you are infinitely talented and capable.
You have the power to build and run your empire.
Take inspiration from these legendary female entrepreneurs from history.
They have changed the history of the world and shaped up great empires that still exist today – thank you Coco!
You are a smart and strong boss babe, don’t doubt this for a second!
Surround yourself with women who see your potential and fan that flame!
Seek inspiration from those who have paved the way for you and then think bigger!
Here are 4 ways to become THAT girl:
1. Look for all the evidence of your success. Focus on every small win and go to bed to gratitude listing every step towards your vision.
2. Know that temporary failure is inevitable. Don’t freak out, read and listen to this.
3. You are the reason and the force behind your success. No one else can change that. Let go of things quickly when they seem to not be in your favour. In other words, discipline your disappointments.
4. You already have everything you need to create massive motion in your business. Start where you are with what you have.
